IABEE Accreditation to produce graduates that meet professional quality standards 

Unavoidable competition at global and regional levels, as well as openness of international societies have challenged Indonesian professionals to improve their competitiveness.  IABEE accreditation ensures study program to produce graduates that fulfill the requirements of international standards and qualifications to become professionals through outcome-based education processes. Accreditation is not the objective, but a mean to make sure that continual improvement takes place in engineering, computing, and technology education. 

IABEE Accreditation for Producing Graduates Who Meet Professional Quality Standards

The Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) is an internationally recognized accreditation body for higher education study programs. IABEE operates under the Standing Body of the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII). It has achieved full signatory status for Indonesia’s jurisdiction under the Washington Accord (2022) and the Seoul Accord (2024) and is currently pursuing membership in the Sydney Accord and the Dublin Accord. IABEE has been officially recognized as an International Accreditation Body by the Government for the fields of Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, Informatics, and Computing, as stipulated in Ministerial Decree No. 236/O/2024 issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (KEPMENDIKBUDRISTEK). Its quality management system adopts ISO 9001:2015 standards and has been certified by TÜV Rheinland.
